Acknowledgments

All publications with results from NNPs infrastructure must include an acknowledgment directed to the Research Council of Norway (RCN) for funding, e. g.:

"This work was partly supported by the Research Council of Norway through the Norwegian NMR Platform, NNP (226244/F50).”

Reference to the publication and the PDF file should be sent to the NNP-manager. Publications should preferably be “open access”.

When registrering publications in CRIStin you have to include the NNP, with only the numbers "226244" under "Project code"/"Prosjektode":

New Norwegian NMR Platform

The Norwegian NMR Platform is a national infrastructure platform, hosted by the Department of Chemistry, University of Bergen, in collaboration with UiO, NTNU and UiT. The instrumentation consists of one 850 MHz at UiB and two 800 MHz spectrometers at UiO and NTNU. The 800 MHz spectrometers at UiO and NTNU were instaleld in the Autumn 2015, while the 850 MHz at UiB was installed Spring 2016. The package also includes several lower field spectrometers, not administered by NNP, at the four universities.

The new platform provides a much needed and anticipated upgrade in the Norwegian NMR infrastructure, bringing Norway back on level with the rest of Europe. The NMR researchers will with the new equipment be able to study more complex systems, e.g. larger proteins.

The establishment of the Norwegian NMR Platform was made possible by the collaboration between UiB, UiO, and NTNU.  The writing group consisting of Frode Rise (UiO), Øyvind Halskau (UiB), and Finn L. Aachmann (NTNU) has, together with project manager Willy Nerdal, been essential in the application process.
